What is 'My Telstra Pre-Paid'?
'My Telstra Pre-Paid' allows Telstra customers to manage their Pre-Paid mobile online while logged into Facebook with a PC or Laptop. You can check your balance when you want, recharge and share credit with your mates. It's that simple.

If you are a new user of the App, you can search for ‘My Telstra Pre-Paid' from the search box at the top of each Facebook page, or you'll find our Facebook app here. Or you can link to it when your friends send you credit requests via Facebook.
You'll find the links to the app on the Telstra24x7 Facebook page.
Existing 'My Telstra Pre-Paid' users can find it in your Apps section whenever you are logged into Facebook.
Please Note: The application cannot be used within Facebook for mobiles.
The 'My Telstra Pre-Paid' app is a great way to manage your Pre-Paid service online. It's for all our Pre-Paid Mobile customers logged into Facebook from a PC or Laptop.
Once registered, you can recharge, check their balance, share credit and more. You can find more info on our App here.
The advantages are:
- It's easy to use and register using your Pre-Paid Mobile number;
- Secure to setup and use. You'll receive an SMS on your mobile to verify that it's your number;
- No username and password to remember;
- After registering the App is always available once you've logged into Facebook;
- No need to leave Facebook to check your balance or recharge.
You will need your Telstra Pre-Paid mobile service, mobile number and must be logged into Facebook account using a large screen internet browser - so not on your mobile.
Then when you open the App, after you've logged into Facebook, you'll be taken straight to the Dashboard every time so there's no need to log in again.
Step 1 of 6: Log into Facebook at Facebook.com:
Step 2: Type My Telstra Pre-Paid into the Facebook search bar and select My Telstra Pre-Paid, or click TelstraPrePaid.
Step 3: To register your Pre-Paid mobile number, tick the box to agree to terms and click Send Verification Code. You'll need to ensure you have your Pre-Paid mobile handy to receive the SMS:
Step 4: Enter the verification code, contained in the SMS, and click Submit:
Step 5: My Telstra dashboard will be displayed:
Step 6: When logged into Facebook, you'll see a link to Telstra Pre-Paid under Apps on the left. You'll be taken straight to the My Pre-Paid dashboard. No neeed to log in and register again.
Step 1 of 4: Within the My Pre-Paid dashboard, select Settings.
Step 2: Click the unlink button:
Step 3: Pop up box will appear, click Confirm to confirm the unlink:
Step 4: My Pre-Paid is now unlinked, and you can now enter and link to another Telstra Pre-Paid mobile number.
It's easy to recharge with a saved or unsaved credit or debit card, or with a recharge voucher. Follow the prompts from the Dashboard to recharge.
To make it easier to recharge in the future with My Telstra Pre-Paid you can save your credit or debit card details with Telstra Pre-Paid and create a recharge PIN. Visit prepaid recharge.telstra.com, recharge with your card and you can save your details.
You can use Telstra Credit Me2U to send credit to friends from within My Telstra Pre-Paid application. You must be able to receive SMS on your mobile to do this.
And you can request credit from Facebook friends with a Telstra Pre-Paid Mobile. Your friends need to be registered for My Telstra Pre-Paid to respond to your requests via the App. They must also be able to receive SMS on their mobile to receive verification SMS.
Can I change my offer?
Yes. You can view alternate offers for your service and choose a new offer up to 10 times per year. However, not all services have alternate offers available. You can see current Pre-Paid offers available at Telstra.com.
Can I use My Telstra Pre-Paid App from within the Facebook app on my mobile?
No. You must access Facebook using a standard internet browser usually found on a computer, and download and use the App from there.
Can I link my Facebook account to more than one Pre-Paid mobile service?
No. You can only link one Facebook account to one Telstra Pre-Paid mobile service.
Can I take over a Telstra Pre-Paid service that is linked to another Facebook account?
Yes, if you have your mobile and can receive SMS you can link the mobile service to your Facebook account.
Register your mobile number from within your Facebook account and we will send a verification code and confirm you wish to take over the service.
Can I use the My Telstra Pre-Paid App if I don't have a Facebook Account?
Can I use My Telstra Pre-Paid to manage my Telstra Pre-Paid Mobile Broadband or Pre-Paid Tablet (including Micro SIM for iPad) service?
There are no restrictions to Broadband or Tablet customers using My Telstra Pre-Paid, however you need to receive SMS on your mobile device to register and complete some functions. Your Broadband device or Tablet may not be capable of receiving SMS.
You may prefer to manage these services in other ways.

For Pre-Paid Micro SIM for iPad services use: ‘myprepaid.telstra.com/ipad', or try the Telstra 24x7 App for iPAD to recharge or check your balance.
